Qatar to Host 19th Session of Korea-Middle East Forum on November 6

Doha, The State of Qatar will host the 19th session of the Korea-Middle East Cooperation Forum on November 6. The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

First Launched in 2003, the Korea-Middle East Cooperation Forum is an annual platform that brings together prominent figures from the public and private sectors. The Forum is hosted by the Republic of Korea and Middle East countries alternately.

The 19th session of the forum will be held for the first time in Doha, under the theme “Korea and the Middle East: Towards enhancing cooperation and consolidating partnership.” The forum includes three sessions, the first titled “Future Prospects for Korea and the Middle East,” the second “Strengthening Economic Partnerships in the Era of Green Transformation,” and the third “The Future of Humanitarian and Cultural Ties between Korea and the Middle East.” Each session will see speakers and experts from the Republic of Korea and the Middle East.

This year’s forum comes in light of the growing relations and cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Korea, in addition to the countries of the Middle East and North Africa region in various fields, including politics, economy, diplomacy and culture. Prominent political, economic and academic figures from the Republic of Korea and Middle East countries will take part in the forum.
