Under the title “Provocative Practices,” Al-Watan newspaper said in its editorial that the settlers continued their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police. On Monday, they stormed Al-Aqsa in successive groups, carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards. The occupation police intensified their military measures in the Old City of Jerusalem, deploying their forces at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing restrictions on the entry of worshipers.
Al-Watan called for Arab, Islamic and international action, especially from the US administration, to stop the practices of the extremist Israeli government and to force it to adhere to the legal and historical status quo of Al-Aqsa Mosque. This comes in light of the significant danger on the threats to establish a Jewish synagogue within the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which represents a blatant and explicit call for its destruction.
The news
paper concluded its editorial by saying that there is no doubt that these provocative practices are part of ongoing attempts to alter the historical and legal status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, pushing towards the temporal division of the mosque. This coincides with the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which could lead to dangerous escalation and waves of violence.
For its part, The Peninsula newspaper said In its editorial titled” Elusive Gaza truce deal” that the Israeli forces bombed a school in central Gaza on Monday sheltering displaced Palestinians, killing a number of people.
The continued bombing of schools, houses, hospitals and infrastructure has become Israeli’s habitual practice, it added.
It Called on the international community to take a stand to stop Israeli atrocities and the collective punishment of Palestinians and end the war.

The newspaper concluded by saying that the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza has worsened as 60% of essential medicines and 83% of medical supplies have run out and this will lead to interruption in medical services.
