HE Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the UN Sheikha Alya bint Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met here with the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini.
The two sides discussed a host of topics related to providing humanitarian assistance, particularly the 2023 UNRWA Pledging Conference.
During the meeting, HE Sheikha Alya bint Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani reiterated the State of Qatar’s commitment to continue its generous support to the agency and meeting the urgent humanitarian needs of the Palestinians.
