QSE Index Begins Tuesday’s Trading Down 0.34%

Qatar Stock Exchange index started Tuesday’s trading in the red zone, losing 34.66 points, down 0.34%, to reach the level of 10,237 points, compared to the end of Monday’s trading, weighed down by four sectors.

The decline was attributed to the negative performance of the telecommunications sector by 0.98%, the insurance sector by 0.86%, the transportation sector by 0.69% and the bank and financial services sector by 0.38%. On the other hand, the performance was positive for the consumer goods and services sector (0.41%), the real estate sector (0.23%), and the industrial sector (0.07%).

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2978 transactions worth QR 63.807 million, distributed to 29.998 million shares.
