Doha, The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 77.24 points, or 0.81%, to reach the level of 9,595 points at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, compared to yesterday’s closing.
The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in all sectors: Telecoms by 2.91%; Real Estate by 1.46%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.96%; Transportation by 0.90%; Insurance by 0.65%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.34%; and Industrials by 0.11%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 4,525 transactions worth QR 145.316 million, distributed to 75.123 million shares.
