The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 10.61 points, 0.1o%, to reach the level of 10,267 points at the beginning of trading on Tuesday compared to yesterday’s closing.

The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in Insurance by 0.90%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.38%; Transportation by 0.22%; Telecoms by 0.20%; and Real Estate by 0.04%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.43%; and Industrials by 0.13%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,427 transactions worth QR 74.328 million, distributed to 32.969 million shares.
