During a memorial event on Tuesday at the Qaim Complex in the southern suburb of Beirut, MP Mohammad Raad, head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, emphasized that supporting Gaza was crucial for upholding human values globally.

“Our efforts are not just for Gaza but for humanity across Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, and beyond,” Raad stated.

Raad criticized Israel’s failure to achieve its objectives in Gaza, noting that the enemy is now “lost and unable to initiate a conflict with the resistance.” He argued that Israel’s inability to establish a sustainable alternative in Gaza has led to internal disarray and external isolation. Despite its military incursions, Raad said that Israel remains ineffective and disoriented, incapable of confronting the resistance effectively.

The lawmaker further argued that opening a support front in Lebanon was a preemptive measure to protect against potential Israeli aggression.

Moreover, Raad criticized the Israeli aims in Gaza, suggesting they intend to disma
ntle resistance, occupy further territories, and threaten neighboring regions.

‘Despite its advances, Israel has failed to achieve its goals or provide a viable alternative in Gaza, showing its internal and external vulnerabilities,’ Raad added, concluding with a hopeful message that “we will prevail for the sake of human values” while the enemy remains defeated.
