Russia Downs 10 Ukrainian Drones over Bryansk Region

Russia announced Monday that its air defense systems shot down ten Ukrainian drones over Bryansk Region, without any casualties or material damage reported.

Russian air defense forces destroyed six Ukrainian drones over Bryansk Region, Governor of Bryansk Alexander Bogomaz said in a post in Telegram, adding that another attempt by Ukraine to carry out an attack using drones was thwarted, with three drones destroyed over the Zlynkovsky district.

In another post, the governor announced that air defenses successfully destroyed a tenth Ukrainian drone over the region.

Ukraine has intensified its drone attacks on Russian territories in recent months.

Russia launched a military operation against Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it does not appear to be close to ending it, reaffirming its commitment to continue the operation until all of its goals are achieved.
