09:00 am The “Sainte-Anne University Hospital” and “Holy Spirit University of Kaslik” are organizing the first scientific day dedicated to multiple sclerosis, titled “The First Day of Multiple Sclerosis,” on the occasion of the inauguration of the specialized care center for multiple sclerosis. The event is held under the patronage of the Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Dr. Firas Abiad, at the Sainte-Anne University Hospital in Jbeil – Founders Hall Theater.
10:00 am The Arab Network of Fact-Checkers from ARIJ, supported by the Google News Initiative, is organizing a fact-checking workshop for journalists and media students titled “Fundamentals of Verifying Fake Information.” The workshop is held under the patronage of the National Audiovisual Media Council and in collaboration with the Verify360 platform and the Lebanese International Press site, at the Council’s headquarters in the Ministry of Information, Hamra.

ference titled “From Lebanon the Arena… to Lebanon the Homeland” at the Seaside Pavilion, Beirut Waterfront. Speakers at the opening of the conference include Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch Youssef Absi, Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, and President of Tajaddod for Lebanon, Charles Arbid.
10:00 am Youth Against Corruption (YAC) is holding a conference on the ‘In Their Shoes’ project at the Central Administration of the Lebanese University. The project aims to enhance dialogue and exchange of opinions between Lebanese youth and their government representatives. Participants include MPs Najat Saliba and Ibrahim Mneimneh, former MP Ghassan Moukheiber, and President of the Lebanese University Dr. Bassam Badran.
12:00 pm The Higher Islamic Council, chaired by the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, will hold a session at Dar Al-Fatwa to discuss Islamic and national affairs.

07:00 pm The Lebanese Popular Conference is organizing a symposium to commemorate the first anniversary of the passing of the founder of the conference, Kamal Chatila, at Commodore Hotel – Hamra, Beirut.
08:15 pm Graduation ceremony and certificate distribution for the academic year 2023-2024 will be held at Beirut Arab University (eleventh batch) in the Tripoli campus, by invitation from University President Professor Wael Nabil Abdelsalam, in the presence of the Minister of Interior in the caretaker government, Judge Bassam Mawlawi.
