Saudi Arabia Begins Discussion Mechanisms for Reopening Diplomatic Mission in Iran

The Saudi technical team concerned with discussing the mechanisms for reopening the diplomatic mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Iran, is currently on a visit to the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The Saudi technical team headed by Nasser bin Awad Al Ghannoum met with the Iranian foreign ministry’s head of ceremonies in Tehran Hunar Dost.

During the meeting, the head of the Saudi technical team expressed his gratitude for the warm reception that his team received, whilst the Iranian official pledged to offer all necessary support for the success of the Saudi team’s mission.

The Saudi Press Agency stated that the visit comes within the framework of implementing the joint tripartite agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People’s Republic of China, as well as a continuation of what was agreed upon by both sides during the talks session between the Saudi foreign minister and his Iranian counterpart, which took place in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on Thursday.
