Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs: GCC-ASEAN Summit to Take Place Every Two Years

Riyadh, – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah announced the adoption of a summit at the level of leaders of countries between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the ASEAN countries, alternately every two years, in order to ensure the strengthening of joint cooperation.

In a joint press conference today with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi, following the conclusion of the Riyadh summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the ASEAN countries, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the two groups aspiration for more cooperation, given the commonalities and great opportunities for cooperation.
