Bethlehem Ma’an – Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, sent a congratulatory message to the Algerian President on the occasion of the people’s renewal of confidence in him as President of the country.
Hamas issued a statement in the name of Sinwar, saying that he “congratulates President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the Algerian people’s renewed confidence in him as President of Algeria.”
The statement said, “Al-Sinwar reiterates his appreciation for the Algerian role in standing by the Palestinian people and defending their rights in international forums.”
According to Hamas, Sinwar said he was sending his message in light of the “heroic war waged by the Palestinian people and their brave and steadfast resistance in the battle of Al-Aqsa, despite the genocide and barbarism of the Zionist occupation.”
According to Sinwar, the occupation is attacking our people in the West Bank, Jerusalem and inside, in a blatant violation and defiance of all international laws and conventions.
