Socotra, Socotra Archipelago Governor Eng. Raafat Al-Thuqli met Monday with a team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) headed by Community Support Department Director Dr. Jawaher bint Abdullah Al-Muhanna.
The meeting focused on ways of collaborating to study the empowerment of small producers, including farmers, breeders, and fishers. They also discussed possibilities, challenges, and solutions and worked on developing an integrated system for proposed future interventions to support the sectors targeted by the center.
Eng. Al-Thuqli praised the humanitarian role of KSrelief in providing assistance to the people of Socotra. He also emphasized the local authorities’ commitment to providing the necessary facilities for the projects and initiatives implemented by the center in Socotra.
