According to a draw conducted by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the Syrian basketball team came in Group B at FIBA Olympic pre-qualifying tournaments for Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, along with the teams of Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.

The Group A included China Taipei, South Korea, India and Bahrain.

It is noteworthy that only one team from the eight teams will qualify for Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

The Olympics will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
