The occupation forces arrest 36 citizens from the West Bank

Ramallah – Ma’an – The Israeli occupation forces arrested, since yesterday evening until Sunday morning, at least 36 citizens from the West Bank, including a female journalist, four female students from Hebron, in addition to former prisoners. The arrests were concentrated in the Hebron Governorate.

The Prisoners Club and the Commission of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs said in a joint statement that the number of detainees since the beginning of the military operation announced by the occupation in the West Bank has risen to about (110), and this data includes the cases that were confirmed with the continuation of the military operation in Jenin Governorate, and the ongoing storming of Hebron Governorate.

The statement indicated that the occupation forces have arrested more than 10,400 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against our people.

He explained that these arrest campaigns constitute the most
prominent fixed and systematic policies used by the occupation forces, with the aim of undermining any escalating confrontation, and they are also among the most prominent tools of the policy of (collective punishment), which also constitutes a central tool for the occupation in targeting citizens.
