Today, Sunday, the occupation forces attacked a number of young men in the Lions Gate area, while they were trying to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Eyewitnesses explained that the occupation forces stationed at Lions Gate – one of the gates of Al-Aqsa – arrested a number of young men as they attempted to enter Al-Aqsa, to perform the noon prayer and to participate in the funeral of Saleh Al-Awar.
The forces pursued the young men and assaulted them by pushing and beating them to keep them away from the vicinity of Lions Gate, and took them outside Lions Gate, ‘outside the Old City.
