The Private Sector Coordinating Council denounces attacks on national institutions

Ramallah – Together – The Coordinating Council of Palestinian Private Sector Institutions denounced the heinous crimes that our national institutions are exposed to, the frequency of which has recently increased in an unprecedented manner, especially related to bank robberies in Palestine.

He said that such crimes threaten civil peace, the security of our national capabilities, and the continued work of our national institutions in serving our Palestinian people, and double the social and economic burdens on them.

The Council said in a statement, ‘In light of what our Palestinian people are being exposed to from a brutal, brutal war and ongoing aggression, the devastating effects of which have been reflected on our national economy and the capabilities of all our people, and the exceptional and unprecedented circumstances that the Palestinian national economy is going through in a systematic manner aimed at burdening the private sector.’ The Palestinians, their companies and institutions suffered huge losse
s, paralyzing the Palestinian national economy.

He added that such actions portend a dangerous security chaos that primarily affects the security and safety of the Palestinian citizen and inflicts heavy losses on our institutions.

The Council appealed to the President, the Prime Minister and the security services to intervene immediately and urgently and to take decisive measures to confront with all determination and force these acts and those behind them, to arrest the perpetrators and impose the maximum deterrent penalties against them, and to establish practical and preventive mechanisms and procedures to protect economic institutions, especially in the areas designated (C) to prevent such incidents from occurring. Businesses protect the national economy and the capabilities of our people from malicious hands.

The Council also called on our people to unite and stand together to reject and reject these actions that are not characteristic of our Palestinian society, and which constitute an imminent dange
r to the security and economic stability in Palestine.
