The Turkish Coast Guard teams rescued 85 illegal immigrants off the coast of Izmir.

A statement from the Turkish Coast Guard said that the immigrants were transferred to the immigration unit to take the legal measures required.

The Turkish-Bulgarian and Turkish-Greek borders are witnessing an increase in the number of illegal immigrants who take land and sea routes, hoping to reach a European country, but the Turkish police use various methods against them to prevent their attempts to infiltrate across the country’s borders with its neighbors.
