Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, “The Israeli occupation’s closure of the Rafah crossing, targeting aid convoys and killing relief workers, is considered a crime against humanity and the beginning of the genocide it is carrying out in Gaza,” according to the “Wafa” agency.

This came in a post on the “X” platform, today, Sunday, after he had an inspection visit to the Egyptian port of Al-Arish and the border crossing from the Egyptian side.

Fidan said: “The occupation closure of the border gate and the targeting of relief convoys, the killing of relief workers, the prevention of the evacuation of patients and civilians, and causing the rotting of thousands of trucks carrying humanitarian supplies, are crimes against humanity and the first stage of the genocide that they carry out on the other side of the border.”

He added: “The goal of our presence here is to draw the attention of world public opinion to the genocide in Gaza,” stressing that the world should give up its silence about what is happe
ning and make more efforts to ensure the arrival of aid to Gaza without obstacle or interruption.

He stressed that Turkey, in its country, citizens, and its non -non-governmental organizations, will stand by the Palestinian people until the end, and will continue to carry out its moral and humanitarian duty.
