Two soldiers were shot dead while protecting a polio vaccination team in Nawan Kalli district, southwestern Pakistan.
A police official said in statements that the two soldiers were killed on the spot while the medical team remained safe inside a house.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes just two days after an ISIS suicide attack that claimed 54 people at a political rally in northwest Pakistan. (QNA)
