US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed in a phone call a range of issues that leaders will consider during the upcoming NATO Summit, including ways to further strengthen the Alliance.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday in Lithuania.
According to a statement issued by the White House, the two sides looked forward to continuing these conversations with Allies during the summit in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, next week.
Among the main topics on the agenda of the summit are the support for Ukraine, defense spending by NATO countries, and the strengthening of deterrence.
