Woman Arrested in Fez for Alleged Involvement in Drug, Psychotropic Drug Trafficking – Security Source

Elements of the anti-gang brigade under the Fez police prefecture arrested in the early hours of Saturday, on the basis of precise information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territory Surveillance, a 29-year-old woman for her presumed involvement in a case of drug and psychotropic drug trafficking, according to a security source.

The defendant was arrested in flagrante delicto for possession and trafficking of drugs, the same source said, noting that the search operation led to the seizure of 3,330 psychotropic tablets, including 2,580 medical tablets and 750 others of the “Ecstasy” type, in addition to a sum of money allegedly derived from this criminal activity.

The defendant was placed in police custody for investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, with a view to elucidating the ins and outs of this case and to arresting any accomplices involved in this criminal activity, the same source concluded.
