287 days of war: dozens of martyrs and polio virus returns to the sector

Israeli aircraft continued their bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip on the 287th day of the war, leaving a large number of martyrs and wounded.

The Israeli occupation forces committed four massacres against Palestinian families, resulting in 54 martyrs and 95 wounded arriving at hospitals, bringing the death toll from the aggression since October 7 to 38,848 martyrs and 89,459 wounded.

In one of the repercussions of the war, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the discovery of the polio virus, warning of the dangers of its spread in the Strip.

Central Gaza Strip

The occupation forces continued to target citizens’ homes and displacement centers in the central Gaza Strip.

Five citizens were killed in an Israeli bombardment of the Abu Hasna family home in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades announced the martyrdom of its commander, Iyad Abdul Rahim Abu Hasna Abu al-Abd, commander of the Central Brigade and member of the Military Council, who was killed in
an Israeli raid on Al-Bureij camp.

Six citizens were killed and a number of others were wounded in another raid on the camp that targeted the home of the Tahrawi family, while no injuries occurred in a third raid on the camp.

The occupation aircraft continued to bomb the Nuseirat camp, and a woman and her daughter were killed in a bombing of a house north of the camp, while four fishermen were killed on Rashid Street adjacent to the camp.

Three citizens, including two brothers, were killed when a car was targeted in Deir al-Balah camp in the central Gaza Strip.

South Gaza Strip

In Rafah, which has been invaded by the occupation army for the third consecutive month, the demolition of residential blocks continues.

Four citizens were killed in separate attacks north and west of Rafah.

In Khan Yunis, tanks renewed their shelling of the southeastern areas of the governorate.

Gaza and the North

In Gaza City, artillery continues to shell Eighth Street, amid warnings from the Civil Defense to citizens not to
reach it.

Four citizens were martyred in the vicinity of the university college on Street 8, while four others were martyred in a bombing on Al-Jalaa Street north of the city.

Two citizens were killed and eight were injured in a bombing that targeted Al-Falah School in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south of the city.
