The President of the Association of Italians Returning from Libya, “Francesca Ricotti,” affirmed that the resumption of direct flights between Italy and Libya, which was announced by the head of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba,” will contribute to facilitating the process of economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
“The long wait is over and it is clear that efforts from both sides to resume direct flights as soon as possible will certainly facilitate economic and cultural exchanges,” Ricotti said in a statement to the Italian news agency Nova on Monday, expressing hope that this will happen as soon as possible.
